Gpu temp unstable

 i have a problem when i play anything the temp goes high fast it rises from 55c to 67 or 70 in just 5 sec or less and the maximum temp was 81 so is it a problem? Should i re-install gpu drivers?

 

I have msi rtx 2080 gaming x trio

unless it goes above 80 its not a problem

normal temps. If you GPU goes from 10% load to 100% load instantly when you launch a game, your GPU temps will do exactly the same. A car at 10% throttle uses a little gas, a car at 100% throttle uses a lot more gas.

You can try to create a custom fan curve in MSI Afterburner so that your fans come online earlier. You will get cooler temperatures that way. Most GPU fans start at around 50-60c, set it to start at 40c and it will be a bit better.

Dont really see an issue with a card getting hot when used. 

 

Seems normal.
