What's the best Benchmarking software?

I need a decent benchmarking software to compare the data before & after making changes to the system (Updating BIOS / changing power plan / Overclocking / etc) to see if there are any changes or increases in performance. I want one that provides a lot of data in terms of clock speeds and temperatures most importantly. I tried 3DMark (demo version) but the data it provides is so useless (you have to buy the full version to get the graphs and charts that are actually useful) and I don't wanna pay 30 bucks to benchmark my PC 4 times or so. Mainly, I want to benchmark the CPU & GPU. Other components aren't really that important to me. Got any suggestions?

Thanks!

dont depend on a single tool

use the same as most youtubers use

sandra, cunebench r15 and 20, blender rendering the same file, cristaldiskmark, geekbench, cpu z

the most used to compare your pc with others is cinebench r15

For GPU: Unigine superposition / heaven,

For CPU: Cinebench, Aida64, Cpu-z.

I only see your reply if you @ me.

The best is a relative term. Different benchmark do different set of task.

If what you mean "popular", then i can direct you to some:

- All rounder (CPU&GPU) : 3Dmark, Cinebench, Userbenchmark

- CPU : Cinebench, Aida64. Geekbench, Sisoft Sandra

- GPU : 3Dmark, Unigine Heaven, Furmark

- Drive : Crystaldiskmark

- Memory : Memtest86

Which of the all-rounders provides the best data in terms of temperature fluctuations?

I don't think any of those support temperature reading, you should use another app for that like HWMonitor or Coretemp.

none, you want to measure every detail to perfection

your best tool would be excel, where you will be taking notes when each tool runs so you have values of what, how and when

to be honest, i never heard a question asking a so detailed tool to benchmark

most people just want to run their pcs stable and enjoy it

Score & Temperatures. That's literally all I want. A good addition but definitely not a requirement would be clock speeds.

HWmonitor shows you the peak temperature and clock speed within current session (as long as it was opened).
