 Hi,

I have a MacBook Pro ( Retina, 15 inch, Early 2013). It has a stock 250GB SSD. I want to update it to 1TB. Can i use this after market ssd (Link Below).

Will it be compatible with the system ?

If not then what do you suggest. SSD can be 512GB or 1TB.

thanx.

No, the drives are proprietary. You would need something like this from OWC:

Thank you for a quick response. The link you suggested is for Late 2013. Mine is early 2013 so this would be ok then ?

I’d double check to make sure the pins all lineup. But yeah, that should be it.

I’m sure you can get original drives used, but OWC is a reputable brand and you get a warranty.
