PC reboot randomly

So i just bought a RX560 4gb and got a new psu (Antec HCG520).But the problem i am getting is that pc shuts down and immediately turns on(Instantly).

I think the psu is ok as it happened with my old psu also

Also i think maybe ram is the culprit here.

1)Can this damage my pc?

2)Is there anyway to fix this?

And also the psu is giving sufficient voltages as i had check in th motherboard monitering.

Adequate voltage is provided by psu to every rail

maybe ur cpu cooler isn't on right or the thermal paste isnt spread out enough. Probably not the case but could be just overheating instantly

Does it stay on for awhile, then just shutdown? It sounds like it could be thermals if that's the case.

Yes.

It mostly restarts while gaming

That sounds a lot like something heating up too hot to me, do you have a way to watch your thermals? And it wouldn't be unheard of that you get two bad power supplies. I personally stick a DMM into my 12V rails while stressing the power supply to test them.

So it happens under load can u try out a stress test and check the temps

I am also worried about temps.

CPU temp under load is 83-84C for Q9650(I know its very old)

I know it is too much I got the best thermal paste in the market it didnt lowered the temps

For a Modern cpu 80 is fine but if the intel website is right the t case of that cpu is like 71 C so 80 could be the reason for the shutdown

Can it be due to Overheating Motherboard>?

I ran a stability test for 20min (Gpu CPu Ram hdd stress test)

It was fine

ICH is apparently your I/O controller hub, and a screeching noise could just be coil whine. But you did say your CPU is between 83-84C when under load. The tcase on that CPU is about 71.4C so it's a safe bet that your CPU is probably getting too hot and resulting in a system shutdown due to overheating.

now the cpu is not reaching that temp.

But still system is shutting down.

And also i notted that

Before turning on (While the power chord is plugged)

A red light is blinking on and off.

While after turning ON the red light is on (Always)

Is this red light located on your motherboard, it could just be a LED to represent whether the PC is in standby or fully on.

Yes it on the motherboard. IDK what it states.

I reapplied the thermal paste to cpu and now it is in good temp.

I hope pc wont shut down now

That's good, why do you suspect RAM? And i'm curious as to what kind of shutdown it is. Does it seem like a shutdown if someone were to pull the plug? Or is it shutting down in a different way, if it was RAM I think it would blue screen. A temperature related shutdown usually presents the user with a message them next time the PC is restarted. Also, how often do you clean the dust out of your PC?

Its the shutdown you mentioned firstly ( Someone Plugging out PC)

The pc has no dust as of now (There are some dirty areas on motherboard

Did the system shutdown before installing the RX560?

The 60C doesn't sound right, it sounds like loss of power but it may not be power supply, it could be a short occurring somewhere.

I upgraded my system before installing RX560. I mean i changed my PC.

is there a way for testing PSU without that VOlt meter or DMM?

Reset switch maybe?

The case reset switch or power switch, start the PC and unplug them to see if it does the same problem, if not, it's one of those switches that make random contact and shut the PC down like you pressed the button. I'm just telling you that it MAY be the issue, thats dumb but sometimes people look too deep for a very small issue.

That's actually not a bad idea, I've had it happen before.

I doubt that it's the power supply though.
