When an AIO is plugged into the AIO_PUMP header on an ASUS board what is the RPM reading referring to?  The fan rpms or the pump?  I know it's 1a/12v full speed but the fans for this AIO are connected to a an RGB hub that controls their speed and lights so the header they're connected to doesn't seem to matter.  So either the 1800 rpm reading is a misread of the 1600rpm fans or it's an accurate reading of the pump working at half speed and I need to know which.  I've never had such a hard time finding an answer to a problem.

Thermal take has some of the worse customer service I've ever seen.  "Write us a message, put it in a bottle and throw it in the nearest body of water.  River, lake, ocean...doesn't matter because we won't respond."

Depends on the AIO, but usually the pump rpm. Would be easier for me if I knew which AIO you are referring to./..

Sorry dude. Floe riing RGB 240mm.  I switched it back to the CPU Header and it's the same thing.  When I plug a case fan into the CPU_Opt header it reads 2800rpm on a 1200rpm fan, but when I plug my pump into any of these headers it reads ~1800. ASUS recommends bios update.  Still on 0220 manufacturer.  I really don't want to mess up my PC with a bad update, but I do have the instructions on how to do it safely.  The risk is giving me anxiety, but I would also really like my AIO to work properly.

Too many variable imo but at least the pump reading is consistent across multiple headers. I would update the BIOS and then see if anything changes. Otherwise make sure that you are on DC mode and 100% constant, but apart from that, hard to say without being there and seeing it for myself.
