Is Userbenchmark.com a good benchmarking program? It's very intuitive and I don't know of any other benchmarking software that evaluates the condition of your whole computer at once.

I think a lot of people are overreacting.. yea, the CPU ratings (effective speed) are basically irrelevant at this point, but you can still look at the single, quad and multi core speeds separately to get the info you need.

 

A common criticism i do agree with about Userbenchmark is its strength and downfall.

Because of its easy to use nature, lots of people have added so much data (scores) to it. So great! Buuuut that also means you have people running the benchmarks 'improperly'.

E.g. if you have a strong PC, but don't close the background processes when running it, you are altering your scores, thus reducing the reliability/trustworthyness of the scores in the database 

 

Strength: lots of user data is good

Weakness: some incorrect data sneaks in too.

Depends really what you are looking for. If you want personal database for hardware changes and overclocking, then it's not. 3DMark and even Cinebench are better. But I'd recommend gathering multiple software, including real-world ones like games, video rendering or real-time demos (I have two, one running with Unity, another with Unreal Engine). I did blog post few years ago detailing my procedure for benchmarks. Can link it here later.
