I don't quite understand the question, but try to boot and see? Are you talking about just files or OS? Latter meaning that you have cloned or migrated disk?

Just a quick Question...I just copied contents from one disk to an  nvme,  in file explorer, win 10 or so it says. How can I be sure, its actually all there. ( boot sys files )

So I can change the boot to the nvme

You can't do that to move an operating system, it doesn't work. You have to clone the disk and you can't do it from within windows.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

sudo chmod -R 000 /*

Copying alone messes with the permissions on the file system, cannot copy locked files and many other drawbacks. It's not a good idea to try and move your OS this way.

Use the many free utilities like minitool partition wizard to clone the drive to the nvme. Then unplug the old drive, change your boot options in bios to make the nvme the boot device.

Windows will most likely still bluescreen on startup, make sure you have a windows bootable usb drive before you do the change.

If your OS doesn't boot 70% of the time you boot with the usb drive and choose repair and it will automatically fix whatever is making it unhappy.
