@LukeSavenije what about corsairs tx series?

you mean txm? also decent, just like that pp11

a little on the louder side, but I'd be more than satisfied with it

Was thinking of getting this over the corsair vs 650watt, due to i think its better quality. My system is ryzen 3600, b450 tomahawk, nzxt h500, 8gb 2400(upgrading soon), and a gtx1050ti(but soon to be replaced with either a rx5700xt 3rd party model or a rtx 2070 super

Is the psu good/reliable

Can you go with Corsair CX 500  2017 instead?

There is no such thing.

Those GPUs cost >$400. You should be able to spend a bit more to get a better PSU. Depending on what's available, check out the Formula 450W, Whisper M 450W and Straight Power 450W.

Ok Corsair CX500 gray label that came out in 2017. Is that better?

@CrazieChipmunk Choose something from this list in tier A or B. For example CX500 (2017).

I only see your reply if you @ me.

The 500B is an absolute piece of shit. If you want to get a piece of crap PSU, why not just get for the cheapest one possible? Here is one for £24. https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/Gjkj4D/tacens-ap-ii-500w-atx-power-supply-apii500

Why even bother asking if you're just going to disregard all of the replies?

@seon123 well you didnt really give me an answer i asked whether the system power 9 is good and if its the better one i will get it

Again, you should be able to afford a better PSU. The price difference between the 5700XT reference and the 2070 Super is currently about £100. Since you're considering both, that would imply you can afford the 2070 Super. So get a third party 5700 XT when it comes out, and spend the money you saved by not going for the 2070 Super on a better PSU. One of the ones I suggested. The way I see it, is that you do not care about the PSU, and just want to cheap out on it. Asking about it is just so you can feel that you're justified in cheaping out.

I still dont understand whats wrong with the system power 9 500w or i could get 600w for an extra 5 but thats besides the point, whats the difference between a the system power 9 and the psu your recommending, i dont care about semi/modular cables and the only difference i can see is one is gold and mine in bronze
