Why would you recommend the VII? It's basically obsolete now, and at that price, makes no sense.

I recommend it because of the HBM2, yes it’s obsolete and I should probably stop recommending it, but I’m obsessed.

I assume the op is gaming, so why would he need a 12 core cpu ? The 3700X makes more sense.

Not that gpu though. A 2070 Super makes more sense if going with Nvidia. Should cost less for the same/similar performance.
