It will fit into any case that is mATX (AKA Micro ATX) AND larger.

mATX, ATX, E-ATX cases will be compatible.

mATX is a smaller (less tall) ATX motherboard.  E-ATX is a wider ATX motherboard.

 

So mATX fits inside ATX footprint, which fits inside E-ATX.  The screw holes are standardized, in the same locations.

 

So a mATX motherboard will fit into any case that claims to support mATX or higher motherboards (ATX , E-ATX etc)

Yes.

Micro-ATX, mATX, µATX are referring to the same thing.

The only standard form factor mATX doesn't fit in is Mini ITX, a mere 6"x6"

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.
