How do i fix no speaker plugged in?

Just built new pc and I can't get sound to come off. I am using a dvi to hdmi cable, my TV knows its dvi. None of the choices on the picture lead to anything. 1 of the chooses for amd tells me to restart but doesn't fix a thing.

If you're trying to get sound through your display cable, sound doesn't travel through DVI. You have to carry it over a USB device or use your headphone jack.

In Windows sound is the HDMI device selected as the default device?

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
