I just installed my new cpu(upgrading from a ryzen 5 1600) and I’ve been looking at its stats and each core is capped at about .8 GHz. I tried over clocking but that didn’t work. Also when I booted my computer up it gave me a message saying their was corrupted data or a new cpu was just installed. What can I do now.

Could you have accidentally bent pins when installing the CPU? Might want to check your bios version on the motherboard as well.
