if your intention is to run dual channel, yes

if not, no*

*though your computer might have trouble booting if they're in the same channel(unsure about this)

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

The trick if you want to mix and match ram sticks is to make sure that they have the same timings and voltages. Its also wise to match the speed too like  both 3200mhz. If one stick is slower than the other, the motherboard will generally clock down and run both sticks at the slower speed

My son's computer has 1 corsair stick and 1 gSkill stick. It is running in dual channel no problem

but to avoid headaches, it is generally best to get the same stick
