Silent Laptop for remote work, coding, 3d graphics

ekt

Budget 1500€, Europe

I commute between two work offices and home

I'd like to find a laptop that I could use everywhere

at work

  • I mainly work on other machines via remote control
  • write email and docs
  • I need the quietest machine possible here

at home

  • coding (visual studio)
  • 3d graphics programs (3dsmax, blender, unity3d)
  • gaming
  • i'm ok if the laptop is noisy when the GPU is under pressure

I don't need to use it while commuting. will always be plugged and w/external monitor, hence I really don't care about battery or display quality/size
need sober design, clients despise flashy rgb bright tattooed laptops

I was going to buy a Dell G5 15 (i7-9750H, RTX 2060)
I had good experience with dell in the past, but I read several posts about over heating, and also I'm a little worried because no one is suggesting it here

in the past I've always used a 2-machines solution: a shitty laptop for work and a (somewhat better) workstation at home
but I spent the last six months using just a laptop and I come to realize I really love having only one machine not having to bother synching stuff

any advice would be welcome

thanks

i'm not sure I understand what are you asking.

let me simplify: per you knowledge, what is the most quiet laptop with a recent cpu and a decent discrete gpu?
