Depends on your current RAM Frequency.

Do you have XMP enabled with your current RAM? If not, then you have probably been missing out on your RAM's true performance all these years.

I have looked all over the BIOS.. I have no setting for XMP... I looked in the OC Tweaker and there is no setting for XMP.

Hmm if OCTweaker does not have a XMP option then your RAM is probably just a 2133MHz RAM kit. Most likely cannot go much higher without manual overclocking.

I would recommend you go get yourself some 3200 or 3600MHz RAM for your Ryzen3000 CPU. It will improve your CPU performance greatly.

Okay I think I will do that... Also, would I see a difference between the 2133mhz and a 3200 or 3600 mhz. I mean actually see a difference in the performance.

If you are only using the internet (google, websites and such) you probably will not see a massive difference, there will be a slight difference.

But if you are going to use that CPU to actually do work that requires CPU power, or play games. The faster RAM speeds will make a big difference.

Some AMD boards call XMP DOCP.  Look for that.

Here is some testing I did for someone else with a similar question.

@mrandygets - @nick name is very knowledgeable with tables and facts on this stuff.  My answer is ABSOLUTELY a huge upgrade.  I have 1 kit of 2133mhz CL 14, 1 kit of 3200mhz CL16 and 1 kit of 3600mhz CL18 - the 3200 BLOWS the 2133mhz out of the water in gains.  And the 3600mhz smashes the 3200mhz in gains those are my 2 cents
