Windows Partition environment

TheWahmenRespektor

Before we get started I want to get one thing clear ---> (Keep in mind I frequently factory resetted my PC when it had the HDD in it)

So I literally just cloned my HDD to an SSD and everything went fine, but now I want to factory reset my SSD so that it has a clean install of windows but I'm getting an error message of some sorts... "Insert your windows installation or recovery media, and restart your PC with the media)"...

I don't know anything about this or where it is, can somebody help me? All I want to do is factory reset but ever since the cloning of drives, I cannot...

if someone can help me figure out a way how to create one of these recovery medias so in the future i can factory reset as many times as i need to, i';d be grateful.

It clearly didnt clone all the partitions.
I would get a good USB stick and download the right version of windows and then install that via the USB stick.

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!

I'm not sure where to get a windows version installer, is it this one?

First of all - instead of resetting you can:

1. Image your system to second drive and restore it when needed. You can use Macrium Reflect for that. Use USB bootable rescue usb.

2. Consider maybe to NOT made resets - your system will be perfectly fine. Reset should be last option if everything else fails.

What is the point of making frequent resets anyway? This is not win98 anymore.
