So before Christmas i bought Skyrim on sale for real cheap. I started playing it a lot but there was a problem.  Some quests wouldn't activate when talking to quest characters. They would say their dialogue but the message that a new quest started never showed up. Also in certain cases certain paths in dungeons would be blocked off that shouldent be. I have already tried uninstalling and re-installing but it didn't seem to fix my problem. Currently i don't have any mods installed. So if you have a solution to my problem please tell me. Thanks.

Should go on google and state which quests are giving you problems, i had a similar issue with one of the thieves guild quests and had to use console commands to skip the dialog and initiate the beginning of the quest

Try getting the unofficial Skyrim patches.

X2 on the unofficial patches. They fix a ton of game breaking bugs

Go on nexus skyrim and download the highest rated unofficial patch.

try using the console commands to fix it 

you can google the problem and the corresponding commands that might help 

to use the console while in game just press ~ then usually if you didnt get a quest item you can just use the player.additem command

like if it didnt give you gold player.additem 00000f 100 will give you 100 gold or say it glitched and the key doesnt work for the quest door just left click it and type unlock then enter or if you get stuck just type tcl then enter and it turns off collision. im sorry but i dont know which quests you are having problems with but this might help also just for lols tgm is god mode and its alot of fun
