Computer freezing. no signal.

I've been having my computer randomly freeze. no signal on monitor, fans spin up and stays on but frozen like that. No audio. Until I hold the button. Then it will boot fine. It happens pretty much consistently when trying to reboot the pc but not when shutting down fully and booting again

 

Tried resetting windows.

Updating drivers.
memtest and harddrive health seems fine.
Changing boot and sleep options.
Temps all seem fine.
disabling OC and mem settings on both XMP and default.

 

I did have my motherboard die and I had to RMA it for a replacement kind of recently. But I had no problems until this started happening.

It did seem to start right after a windows update but it could be unrelated.

 

Windows 10 pro 64bit
Should be up to date.

I'm having the same problem

Have tried various things since posting. Such as updating to BIOS 5.9. Then resetting CMOS. But still no progress on this issue.
