MacBook Pro 1.4 vs 2.4

So... I bought my 2.4Ghz ($1799) MacBook Pro during July 4 sales deal for $1649. Now, the new one is out, I'm debating if I should return it and get the 1.4Ghz version with education discount and get free headphone and all that.

Do you think it's worth going through the hassle for free headphones?

I use Photoshop, Lightroom, and Final Cut on weekly basis if not more.

I'm also concerned that cheaper version only has 1 fan compared to 2 fans on mine.

Thank you very much, have a nice day.

Is it this? https://www.macrumors.com/2019/07/09/back-to-school-promotion-2019/

Well.. Beats headphones were never known for having good sound.

Or... even decent sound.

Or.... having a somewhat decent build quality.

There you go. Sound will come out, and they will work.

But Beats headphones are not good headphones.

If you do chose to return it, and save money with the "new" entry model, and you do get these headphones, i would honestly advice to sell the headphones un-opened, and spend the money for actuall good headphones - if you need some.

Edit: These headphones do look stylisch, if you're into this Design. But that's pretty much the only positive thing you can say about them ^^
