Will you just game on this computer or will you video edit also? If your not going to video edit get an i5 4670k and raise the graphics card to a 770.

What type of editing are you doing? Content being worked on? Programs being used?

What about the other parts like storage?

I'd stick with your current setup (unless you really want to move from Sandy bridge to Haswell) but I think you only need a graphics card upgrade and maybe your could also get a extra monitor.

If you're going down the route of buying a new system in general haswell is pretty common and is darn good. OC'ing is a bar none erm...trouble maker especially since haswell micro-processors kick off a lot of heat so be warned, I would advise spend more on your graphics card really, a 4770K may be useful however a 4670K will do the job for any type of gaming (quad core processors for the win).

I'd approve of going to use a MATX motherboard versus a MITX motherboard as you're probably going to keep the power supply so it's capable of running a dual card setup + a overclocked processor.

The ROG Impact is quite the expensive motherboard here in the UK which cost £10-20 more than the Hero on the LGA 1150 Socket/Haswell I'd go with a different board and the features are good but over-priced in my opinion

Also I forgot @ahlot Welcome to the Forum, hi I'm Kingsley and you have now right the to have the

I definitely would NOT downgrade from an lga1155 i7 to an i5...the i7 is powerful enough.

I'd source an LGA 1155 mITX motherboard, keep your current CPU and dump the money you would have spent on the 4770 into a much better graphics card.

If you want to upgrade the board/cpu I'd just wait until Broadwell comes out. Your current i7 really won't see that much of an improvement if you upgrade.

You could also buy a liquid cooler and OC it. They OC very easily.
