Certain reddit discussion crashes GPU driver when using chrome

As said in the title, my GPU driver crashes when reading a the following discussion:

I didnt get a crash when using Internet Explorer.

The crash makes my gpu drivers restart again and again (making my monitors repeatedly say "no signal"). Also all audio is still working so it's not a system wide freeze.

Syslogs give me a VIDEO_TDR_ERROR, with WhoCrashed pointing towards atikmpag.sys.

I've reinstalled GPU drivers (ran DDU before), ran malwarebytes and reinstalled chrome completely. Disabled all hardware acceleration related flags/settings in chrome, updated bios and updated windows. I also ran Aida64(cpu+gpu stability tests), furmark burn and prime95 each for a good while without any crashes or problems.

I'm running Vega64, 7600K with 16gb ram. Mobo's Asus Z270H.

This is starting to creep me out and I'm starting to think my PC is haunted...

if it only happens in chrome, dont use chrome, try firefox and see what happens

if it doesnt happen in forefox or internet explorer you just discovered how well done is chrome in reality
