Aio pump not effective

My computer was getting too hot in idle temp (48-50c).

So I opened it up and search for the problem.

I found the rust on my CPU and aio

How can I remove it?

How the heck did that happen.  That is nasty as if its been under water for 10 years or something.  Just get cotton and use Alcohol.

This is the first time I am seeing a AIO block oxidize. Was the pump making a lot of noise prior to your removal?

that area being like that wouldn't be the cause of the temps, more likely another symptom of the main issue

But also the temps has nothing to do with that.  I think your pump was failing cuz 50c idle is insane under water.  Either that or your rad fans aren't spinning lol which is not the case.  Touch the pump when you power up next, also can you check its RPM ?  You got the double axe in a way sorry for that.  I would look into buying a new cooler and not installing this one cuz 50c don't cut the rug my friend.

If there's oxidation on the copper water block, its possible it's leaking but I'm guessing your environment is just really humid, or the paste used had contaminated water content, as a leak would probably have been more catastrophic than that.

 

If the paste was contaminated, then that cold explain the poor thermals.

 

Or it could be a slight leak and it collected on the block.

 

Get a better air cooler.

Did you remove the thermal paste prior to the photo, or was there none to begin with?

Ok the pump is working in 4000 rpm but the thing is the temp are now 90 Celsius 

I put a new thermal paste and it moving the heat to the pump but the water aren't moving the heat from the pump.

What should I do?

Jk could you post a pic of the block area? How fast does the temp raise to 90°C? How is your radiator mounted?

Sounds like either the radiator cannot dump the heat (its clogged with dust) or the pump has failed.

You should be able to hear the pump if you open the case and listen to is closely.

The is working for sure I cleaned the radiator  with water and fan

Where is the top-left screw of the CPU block?

Blocks need even pressure to work properly, I think even one missing screw will twist the block a bit which causes it to lose proper contact with the CPU

But that is the problem, you need even force keeping the block flat against the CPU.

I agree with Dubba.

you need any CPU cooler block, HSF or AIO, is properly installed and in complete contact with the CPU.

any gaps will reduce cooling potential of any cooler.

The CPU got to 90 before the screw broke off
