Looking to replace my xfinity router

Hey guys, 

     I am kinda new to routers and modems and am looking to replace my xfinity modem/router combo, i pay $15 a month and they called me and said i could buy my own and it would save me that on my bill per month. I have 300down 50up for speeds, I am the only person that uses the internet in my home. I was curious if you guys had any recommendations for a good combo to buy? Looking at all suggestions, show me what you have and what you like about it. I do live streaming on twitch, streaming netflix/hulu/tv. Both new hardware will be roughly 4 feet from my gaming desktop, all electronics of mine are in one room the rest of the house doesn't need access to this.  If you have any other questions please ask, I'd love to order something today or end of day tomorrow possibly.  Thank you for any information you guys give me.

If you want to keep a separate modem/router then something like this would work well:

If you think you might upgrade to their gigabit plan in the future then I would go ahead and go in on a DOCSIS 3.1 modem instead like this:

For the router it would depending how much wireless coverage you'll need and your budget. I would suggest perhaps something like:
