Adata RMA back a "newer" packing SSD

so after a month, I finally took my ssd back , its a 240gb sx8200 (non pro)

being limited its write speed to 300mb/s and yes adata will accept rma

they claimed its new.

It had come back with the new heatsink label and the 4 sides of the box are now red...

(okay the lable is finally not up side  down lol)

and there are some scratchy feeling on the controller chip...with some sticky dirty...

run a smart analysis on the disk, it will have a few hours usage, because of testing, but it will give you the idea if it is a return, or a used product..

 

and run a full disk scan, to see if they are any issues, if the disk has a long runtime, then i would turn it.

 

or else i would accept it.

if theres technically nothing wrong but only used, theres nothing I could do lol

crystal disk info, can show you power on times.

 

intel has a solid state drive toolbox, that also can retain the S.M.A.R.T. information

 

SSD life is also a smaller application, that also calculates time left.
