I had that exact same monitor and instead of going to 1440p and I went to 144hz and I would advise you to do the same. With your budget you most likely couldn't get both, but 144FPS on games is life changing. I like it way more than 1440p which I have experienced in the past on other people's systems. You'd also save some money

That's a tall order. How about a 144 Hz curved VA Freesync monitor? This MSI gets nice reviews:

I think this Viotec is the same panel as the MSI, but the MSI is supposed to be a bit nicer, I think. I'm not sure if it's available in your area.
