Mainly gaming at 1080p

Save some money. You don't need a 2070, 32GB of memory or a 650w power supply

If you really want the strix board, go for it. But the Tomahawk is an awesome board, it performs great. Vega 56 will do perfect for 1080p high refresh rate gaming. This case has much more airflow- the H500i doesn't have any.

Im going with these parts so I dont have to upgrade much in the future. I meant to add that I might be doing VM's in the future so I just want that extra power in case I do heavy workloads.

I'm sorry, but why are you asking for help then if you're already definite on what you're buying?

I wasnt asking for help... I was putting this list in here to see if there was anything I could change for better performance.

Well performance wise I guess you would be okay. I would probably get a 3700 instead of the 2700, if you can afford it.

You definitely don't need a 2070 though, the Vega will do just fine, or a 2060. And I would switch the case so you don't choke your parts of airflow

Make sure in the future to list everything you intend to use it for. When you say 1080p gaming I'm assuming thats really all you're going to use it for.

You can reuse a good chunk of your parts. The 1060 still holds up for 1080p 60 fps gaming, you can reuse your motherboard and your memory

Your GPU and ram are fine.

Gtx 1060 is still viable option for 60fps 1080p high settings.

Mobo can be reused after a bios update.

I'll highly recommend to upgrade that PSU to some decent one. Masterwatt series from cooler master and cx / cxm series from Corsair are some viable options.

Im actually gonna go with the 5700 XT, I'm thinking Im gonna go with the 32GB RAM bc its only a $40 difference from the 16GB kit.

I would try and use your GTX 1060 just until the aftermarket versions of the 5700 XT appear. The blower cooler on the current cards isn't the best as usual with AMD reference coolers.
