Optical Drives

Hello all,

 

While many do not use optical drives, big businesses and schools still do. Many people are starting to migrate to Windows 10, but they also want the same features of Windows 7. Towers and AiOs can provide the feature, some companies like the portable form-factor. Of all of my research in laptops with optical drives, I have only found one laptop that is still supported by the manufacturer. The HP ProBook 650 G4 is the last laptop to offer this feature. You might also say that Dells also have this feature, but their lineup is slowly faded out for a more modern and faster 8th Generation Intel CPU.

 

Please note I have left out some laptops because they are going to be discontinued.

 

I am trying to find laptops besides the HP that also have an optical drive, they may be harder to come by.

 

And yes, I know that external optical drives exist.

They plug into USB.

I know that external optical drives exists, but I find them a bit annoying whenever you have to quickly get something in and it's not where you put it earlier.
