Can this make so my case doesn't get ground?

So, i broke a usb 3.0 ground pin and I thought at first that it meant the usb wouldnt work and thats what happened. But somebody over on reddit told me that i could get some bleed from the ungrounded usb header from the case to the motherboard by ESD from the carpet or me touching the case and zap my motherboard ive had quite varying experiences with quality of reddit answers and i believe that you guys are a bit better. Do you think this can happen?  I believe there are 4 ground pins on the header, would that prevent it from happening or do i need all 4?

So you have nothing plugged into the broken usb 3.0 now right? And when you say that are you talking broken on your mobo or on the case side of the usb?

Your motherboard is grounded to the case and then to the outlet's ground via the I/O shield, you have nothing to worry about if you zap the exterior of your case with static.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

What do you mean my outlet is gronded via the I/O shield, are you talking about the usb ports on the back because I'm talking about the ones on the front which are powered by the usb 3.0 header on the motherboard
