So I recently built my computer and it has not been booting past bios. Sometimes however it will boot into bios but then upon exiting out it will pop up with a message saying “Your computer needs to be fixed.” When I try to fix it using Windows Repair, it says your computer could not be fixed. I have read that it could be a bios problem with the B350 tomahawk, but I am confused as to what to change to fix it.

Here are specs of pc:

Cpu: Ryzen 5 1600

Gpu: Gtx 1070

Mobo: MSI B350 tomahawk

Ram: 2x8 gb 3200 MHz ballistix sport lt

Psu: 500 watt thermaltake smart

Ssd: Silicon power 500 gb

Any help is much appreciated!

Edit: Got the computer to boot to windows, but when I restart it, it gets stuck on a boot loop.

You could try resetting the CMOS, then upon first boot, choose to set the BIOS to defaults.  If that boots to Windows, then go back into the BIOS and carefully set your options.

As another test, you could try booting from a Linux live flash drive.  If that boots properly, the issue may reside with your Windows install.

I tried to reset to defaults, but it showed up with a message saying “please remove

bootable device and select the proper one” or something like that
