Whichever has the better timings and frequency.
Generally, RAM is RAM, it's fairly hard to mess up, and any sticks worth their weight will carry lifetime warranty. Both G.Skill and Kingston offer solid options.

Which looks better? I think the G.Skill is sexy.

Besides that, Lower timings (The 15-18-18-6-36 numbers [EXAMPLE NUMBERS]), higher Speeds (The Mhz... always in thousands) , and low CAS.

I haven't looked into ram for a while, so I forget what you should prioritize.

Oh, and 16 gigs is recommended. Never mix two different sets (so don't get both)

I'd recommend 2x8GB for 16, and 2x4 for 8. Dual channel (having two) is a little faster :)

Thoughts become things. What you hold in your mind, you will hold in your hand.

Be happy for yourself.

Ram 101: take notes kids

1) the true speed of ram is as follows:

frequency divided by CAS latency.

ex) 3000mhz 15-15-15-36 (take the first number)

3000/15 = 200 <-- this is the true speed

2) if two rams have the same true speed, then the one with higher frequency yields slightly better results (~5%)

Ram A= 3000mhz cas 15 =true speed 200

Ram B= 4000mhz cas 20 = true speed 200

Ram B is slightly faster. If the cost is the same, go with Ram B. However, in a real world scenario, Ram B will be significantly more expensive due to false marketing.

For DDR 4, a healthy true speed is around 210+.
