Hello. after exiting an OS i had just installed in a separate HDD than my windows OS i was unable to get into windows. When I tried to boot from the drive with windows the message "No Operating System" was displayed. I didnt change any bios settings. I put my laptop drive into my desktop and it booted to my laptops windows fine. I checked the drive i had my original Windows on and everything was there including windows. I was able to access and use all the files. Anyone know how to fix this?

Did you install a boot loader for this "other OS"?

i did not

Does your laptop support 2 hard drives? Pull the other one out and put the original one back in, see what happens?

Ah, the original message was kinda vague on that.

The point still stands, did you try your desktop with only 1 hard drive (the Windows one, not the "other OS" one)

i did, same issue

Sounds like this "other OS" borked the Windows install.

Which "other OS" is this?

Perhaps the MBR needs to be repaired.

Go to bios and select the windows hdd as boot drive.

Another thing is did you install the hackintosh with the windows drive plugged in?

It could be that the hackintosh bootloader overwritten the windows bootloader.

load the windows installer and access repair and try fix bootloader.
