Hi there. I'm building a new bugdet pc for my younger brother, and I would like your opinion in some things.

That's what I have so far:

CASE: BITFENIX PRODIGY M MICRO BLACK

PSU: CORSAIR CX500M MODULAR 80 PLUS BRONZE

MB: ASROCK FM2A88M EXTREME4+

APU: AMD A-SERIES A10-7850K SKT FM2+

MEMORY: KINGSTON PC3-12800 1600MHZ 8GB HYPERX BLACK CL9 (2X4GB) DDR3

HDD: WESTERN DIGITAL CAVIAR BLUE 1TB 7200RPM 64MB SATA III 3.5

That is about 532€ ( 727.36 USD).

I've heard some good and some bad things about the new A10 APU, one of them was the bios compatibility and other being the lack of cpu power vs an i5

My question is, should I buy a APU to run it without any graphics card, or should I lean towards an i5 due to the problems i've mentioned before.

Thanks for the help!

CASE: NZXT Phantom 410 BLACK | PSU: Corsair RM650 | MBAsus Z87-A | CPU: Intel i7 4770K @ 4.6 GHz | Cooler: Corsair Hyrdo Series H100i | RAM: Corsair Dominator Platinum 8GB 1600MHz | GPU: EVGA GTX 780 SC ACX | SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB | HDD: WD CAVIAR BLUE 1TB 64MB CACHE 7200RPM

Hmm not at all, But since I won't have that much hardware I don't see the point of having a bigger case.

I heard the a10 7850k is REALLY overpriced compared to the a10 6800k.

I think you should get this, it's slightly over the price. But I think it's really worth it. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2IIfs

Both of those builds are very good. I'll see if I can find a retailer with the prices in €, since I live in Portugal :D

what about the shipping costs? shipping stuff from US/CANADA and even UK are a bit expensive. But going to the retailer I can save some bucks and make sure all the stuff is in the right conditions. Nevertheless you guys provided me some alternative builds. Seems like its a long shot to expect Kaveri APU's to be mind blowing in terms of performance

My initial idea was to leave a GPU out of the equation, saving some money in the process, but it seems its always better to buy one.
