Good 3000 series mobo

Does anyone have a good motherboard for the 3700x or 3600x thats under $200? Also (different topic) from benchmarks, it seems that the 3600 performs very well, but will it perform better than the 3700x for gaming even with less cores and threads?

so he should wait for q1 of 2020? im also in a search for x570 mobo (3900x in my sight), as of today no prices are shown so you shoud probably wait for few days for them to be shown...

Apparently B550 may not be out until Q4 2019/Q1 2020 or later.

 

Best options under $200 are likely MSI's B450 Tomahawk/Gaming Pro Carbon, and entry level X570s like MSI Gaming Plus and Gigabyte Gaming X (I believe the Gigabyte has better VRM efficiency but the MSI probably has a better heatsink).

3600 is currently beating 3700X on Passmark. Granted, something's probably up, like memory config, but interesting nonetheless.

Yea I saw the benchmark and I feel like something has to be off. If it is true though, then props to AMD for making a $200 cpu that wins the single thread competition.

We just don’t have enough info yet. I’m also itching to get a mobo decided on and processor but until the pricing is released we are all just guessing

Is there an approximate date yet when we are able to get these motherboards? From what I heard the 570 motherboards come out when the chips do.

Ya manufactures are saying they are gonna release them all on 7/7 but we will have to see if they all drop then or if any are delayed. B550 is q1 2020 last I saw
