Posted July 1, 2019 I use this pc that i use Specs AMD FX 4300 8 GB RAM 1333 Mhz 750ti 1TB hard drive Gigabyte 78lmt-usb3 rev 5 My pc had become slow I have not reinstalled windows 10 since August 2016 I tried almost everything to improve the current OS But the improvement is Neglectable And reformating and installing may help or not I don't know And another problem is activation of windows but they are expensive I have seen the windows 10 retail keys available at a cheaper rate at some website (I am not going mention the website as I don't know if am allowed to specify any website link and get banned) I am looking for ssd for my pc but it may bottleneck the ssd via SATA II and PCIe is 2.0 and not 3.0 I have chosen Samsung evo and WD Blue ssd (SATA) I like samsung but wd is also medium-good But what fit better in this configuration And my harddrive I'd over 5+ year old It maintains the average speed and it say good with no errors in the drive Does it last more or replace the drive with new drive Thanks
 Posted July 1, 2019 I would get any SSD from a reputable, brand. It will be a night and day difference. I would also recommend re-installing your system, of course after backing up any of your important data. You could keep both drives in the system and use your mechanical drive as additional storage. I just use a cloud sync software for my important data, I do not use and program. Not sure what you are asking for
 Yeah, that's how you end up with trash like the WD Green, any of Kingston's SSDs, Sandisk SSD PLUS, etc.
