Yes correct, you can ofcourse buy a mainboard / mother board (MB from now on) with build in wifi, but i will never recommend gaming on WiFi.

is there a way to make it wireless cause i dont have an internet plug in. in my room. i have a WiFi boxes

Yes you can, either with a WiFi card or with an MB that has WiFi build in.

New part list will give you an MB with wifi build in.

I have never built my own PC ever. I have no idea what I am doing. I bought one online and it caught fire not a joke it really did. turned it on and the cooling system failed (called the number that it came with and it was disconnected) . So i decide to build my own. I need something with a lot of storage that can handle being played for long hours and can be used as my own personal computer. I want to be able to up date it with more storage or if i need to replace parts. i want a desktop. Any help is appreciated, Guides I can look up. Parts that would work. how to videos. please know i do not understand what any of the letters stand for or the lingo. I am a complete Newbie and am ready to learn. So please leave links. give me an idea where to start all information is helpful. just don't be condescending or a jerk about it. Be helpful cause this might help someone else down the road.

In essence, building a PC is fairly simple. If you need to force a connection, its not the right connector. Aside of this its simply matching the connections and connecting them. So do not be afraid, just do and use common sence.

When it comes to building a PC, Linus has made a few video's

When it comes to upgradeability for storage, there really isn't much wrong you can do.

M.2 slots will be limited. Even though the prices are slightly higher than regular SSD's (NVME is a little higher than the SSD versions) it still doens't seem to be much of a mainstream product. When picking a mainboard, check the amount of Sata connections. This will tell you roughly how many drives you can connect and upgrade too.

What parts would work completely depends on your budget.

General rules: AMD CPU's require a motherboard with a socket that starts with AM (2, 3, 4)

Intel CPU's require a socket that generaly only contains numbers. (478, 1150, 1151)

Minimum requirements to be able to power on a pc are:

Mainboard

CPU (processor)

Memory (RAM)

Hard drive

Power supply

(although not required a case to hold it all isn't a luxury)

Depending on the chosen processor, a VGA (graphics) card can be required.

I forgot to mention the what parts fit what.

PC Part Picker is awesome for this purpose. It will even tell you if parts are compatible with eachother or not.

Check out: https://pcpartpicker.com/

Also you can check out different already completed builds.

And what resolution/refresh rate is your monitor? If it's only 1080p 60hz you should upgrade it.

You only need to spend $750 or so to get a pretty solid gaming PC.

Also Nvidia Super gets announced on July 2nd, and NAVI launches on July 7th.

Not a bad budget, does this include peripherals (Monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset) or is this just for the desktop?

1080p @60hz isn't bad so i do not agree it being a needed upgrade. Recommended perhaps, as 144hz seems to be the new norm, but if you ask me personally, i don't notice much of a difference. (but might be due to my glasses, who knows . .. )

Then do you want a fine cheap 1080p 144hz display? Or something better that's like twice the price and probably isn't worth it just for gaming

Does it work fine? Have you experienced a 144hz screen, maybe in a local best buy or something, so you can actually experience it and base your decision on that?

HDR is for colors on the screen. It can be used with the designing, That's why i am asking. I have no experience with it tho.

Then maybe get a 100hz 1440p ultra wide for the best of both worlds.

*HDR is likely still just a meme for PC monitors since they don't typically get bright enough to make full use of it. Any decently high end VA/IPS display will have decent color accuracy.

But I would wait for July 7th

Vega 56 is finally at a decent price actually. Faster than a 1660ti for around the same price

All you really need is 99-100% sRGB, which most high end VA/IPS displays will have

Hmm, i don't have that issue myself. And i use it for a server build. But i find most times cases are picked for estethics not for actual ease of use.

It's a pretty simply process, but ya the cheaper NAVI card seems pretty interesting.
