Power Cut Killed My DP? Dell SG2716DG

Hi all,

 

I booted my Razer Blade this morning to find that it was no longer detecting my USB-C (to Display Port) attached monitor - a Dell SG2716DG. When I re-plug the monitor in I get this message:

We had a power cut earlier in the day, but both the laptop and the monitor were powered off. Laptop had its power cable plugged in and monitor into the laptop. Could the power cut have caused this? Is there any easy way to tell which of my devices might be broken? I've tried powering everything down and waiting a few minutes, and I've tried factory resetting the monitor. The HDMI connection works fine, but I don't want to be limited to 60fps.

Solved this. I unplugged the monitor from everything and left it overnight - it booted normally this morning.
