And don't for get that half a byte is a nibble.  You get more than a bit but not the full byte. 

 

 

Grammar and spelling is not indicative of intelligence/knowledge.  Not having the same opinion does not always mean lack of understanding.

There's always the fun of trying to know what an int and a long is.

Maybe, but an optimal size explanation doesn't exist.
