Dual Slot GPU Choice

hohoho

Hi together,

I am looking to building my first PC in the Louqe Ghost S1. However, this case requires a Dual Slot GPU.

These are my current options:

- Asus ROG Strix GTX 1060 6GB advanced (210€ Germany)

- Nvidia RTX 2060 Founders Edition (369€ Germany)

It will be for 1080p gaming and light to medium photo editing, also it should be fairly quiet.

Thank you very much for your help.

The RTX 2060. Not only will it perform better, but I'm not sure if the length of that ROG Strix will fit in the Louqe.

I'm pretty sure my purpose in life is to serve as a warning for others.

If you're considering the 1060 6gb, perhaps look at RX 580 pricing to compare, since it's the same performance for less.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

1060 6gb has lower tdp though, considering op wants to put it in a small case and have a dual slot cooler the 1060 might be better off

I checked it and the ROG Strix does actually fit

Sure, I am a fan of Team Green though, so they have a slight edge
