Looking to upgrade

I have a i5 4690k cpu is there any upgrade i could do was look amd but ryzen 2600 doesnt look any better i also have a r9 290 graphics card was looking at upgrading that also

For your processor I would probably just get a used 4790. Your graphics card still holds some strength, what performance are you targeting?

I would say 1000 was looking to do whole system just carry over hard drives
