looking for mini pc

So I'm looking to buy a mini PC for my parents as their PC is slower then snails racing thru peanut butter. It has an Intel core 2 something or other in it that my brother built for em some years ago, i takes about 10minutes from pressing power to getting to a point where it will be done with all the background loading an such and can open a internet browser with the page done loading.

 

My Mother is ready to get rid of the tower and wants something smaller but still has a CD drive. ATM looking toward Asus VivoMini i7 with the cd drive

 

any good mini PC recommendations?

Depends on the budget. Also, buying a small form factor rig and getting a USB optical drive will probably make more sense than trying to find something that comes with one.
