I've never really gotten into AMD products but recently a lot of youtubers have been posting they "killed" intel or something like that. So I was looking into laptops and wondering if the Ryzen 5 2500U was good for production like video editing, photoshop, and lightroom. Especially since they're less expensive then the intel laptops.

It is more a daily chip, and it's comparable to the 8250u. So you could do it theoretically, and you have the bonus of ryzen being good for productivity, but nothing too big.

I lurk

AMD killed Intel in the desktop, in Laptops, Intel still reign supreme.

For mentioned aplications, it can do just fine, but remember you buy a laptop as a full package, meaning the screen must be good also.

Unfortunately AMD laptops seems to getting lower end parts, especially monitors.

Some still having a 720p resolution which is pathetic.
