Massive underperforming

Its my firs ever post here so yee..

 

About 7 moths ago i have built my first ever PC:

Rtx 2080 windforce

Ryzen 7 2 2700x

16Gb 300MHz RAM corsair vengance

650W evega power supply gold fully modular

Asus prime x470 pro

6x ll120 fans

Corsair water pump 360mm(RGB one)

Recently i started benchmarking my PC and all that kind of stuff and i have noticed that im missing loads of frames. We are talk8ng in hundreds..

I can see a difference anyway as im playing on 60HZ monitor taht is in 1080p so yikes( in 2 months im getting 144HZ 1440p)

All drivers are up to date. Nothing is throttling and the best thing is that when i cybenched my PC i got simmilar/ scores as other PC with same/ simmilar parts. Why do you think taht is the case?

1 or 2 sticks of RAM? Is it definitely running dual channel? What temps are you getting on the CPU and GPU?

without knowing what you're actually benching there's no saying on what happened. VRM thermals is a massive problem for this board though,

Ram is in the right slots and temp of gbu doesnt go above 70 and for cpu never goes above 65

2 sticks in the 2 right most slots?  It should be in the 2nd and 4th slots from the CPU according to the manual

I ment 2 in the right slots as in they are in correct spots haha just like on that img.

Btw, you say you're missing hundreds of frames.  Give an example.

 

Like you're getting 14 FPS in a game and you should be getting 200+?

Do you have VSync on or anything?  Are you matching their settings exactly?

Im playing on the highest with v sync off. The AAT or whatever the name is on the max rendering which means that it renders in 1080p

open cpu-z, take 2 screenshots, 1 of the main cpu page and the other one of the ram.

1080p on High for Rainbow 6 seems within reason.  You have a 2700X.

 

To get 280fps, they're playing on low or a lower resolution.

 

No one is hitting 280fps on High.

Currently im in a gym so i cant test it hovewer i know that on one of free tests available im getting only 1000k less which isnt allot as the GPUs that are getting too marks are oc ed. So instead of 11k im getting 10k

Ye i know hovewer my friend with i7 4950k and rtx 2060 is getting more frames than me on evry single game

When you can get Settings info.

 

Until we know them, and are able to compare apples to apples... we can't know anything.
