VR Troubleshooting

I have a Rift S running on Windows 10, GTX1070, i5 8400k, 16g of ram.

First couple weeks it was running fine, now after 5 min of play time GPU and CPU usage suddenly maxes out and frame rate goes to hell.

For the first 5min usage is around 50% and temps all stay under 70c

I have tried:

Cleaning out the case

Reverting to an older nividia driver

running malwarebytes scan and getting rid of non essential programs

 

I'm running out of ideas but I'm also not that great at these things, please help

Looks like its a bitcoin mining malware that turns itself on after no mouse movement for 5 min then would disappear when I went to pull up task manager.
