Build Plan (Is everything good enough?)

I'm making my first ever build, and kind of lost on what to pick.

I read threads, watched a ton of vids and concluded on these parts.

Are they good? Anything to swap?

Also i'm a bit interested on doing a mild OC on this.

Any advice is appreciated :))

Here is the link of my build :

it's enough, though you will need to update the bios before using it.

get this monitor instead:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

How will i update the bios tho? I read that i will need some 1st Gen or 2nd Gen?

Also is that monitor better than the Viewsonic one?

its better if you get the new mobo when it comes out x570/b550

I heard that you may not need cpu to update bios on new mobo

i.e b450 still need a zen / zen+ chip to update bios

ps I personally think msi build quality is bad and its utilities sucks..

the b550 motherboards will arrive in 2020, thats a pretty long time.

also why do you think the msi quality is bad? is asus really the better option?

MSI has one of the better boards on the 400-series, asus is the one cheaping out on components nowadays.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

Now i'm confused. Hmm maybe its his personal opinion? I read some threads and MSI is somewhat better in OCing? (I may be wrong)

I don't think AMD will need a B550, the 400 is their B lineup.

there will be soon, soon i mean like next year.

The prices of x570 is way ahead of me so i consider b550.

So should i hold off and wait for the 3000 series or go along with this?

The MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon has a bios flashback button, so you can update the bios without a cpu. If you don't need pcie 4.0 etc then it is one of the best B450 boards along with the Asus Strix B450-E in the VRM department.
