still don't really understand the point of having that B360 board there, it isn't going to help anybody, as VRM's don't really matter on locked boards, I'll just agree to disagree.

Its helpful for those wanting a decent VRM on their board.

oh yeah another issue I have with the mobo tier list, is that it never actually specifies the VRMs, and doesn't include other stuff.

It for simplicity. We are outputting a VRM list as extra for when X570 launches i believe.

The VRM list will be for those interested and read only. Not edit.

The regular tier list is the "one-click" option.

Let me rewatch the video and get back to you on that

I will say i might have overstated it can kill a 16 core with only active airflow, but it could kill the 2700x no problem without heatsinks.

Might actually need a heatsink for the 16 core.

BZ says those boards are shit and rightfully so. Also wtf is C6E above C7H?

I mean we also need to remember what buildzoid consider crap, but ill take your feedback to the VRM list. Its due for an update soon regardless

A CPU from 2011. Why is it the best value CPU? Because it keeps up with a 7700k when overclocked

Nah it's more like the 6600k when clocks are matched in pure compute work that dont make heavy use of newer instruction sets like AVX2. Still plenty impressive, that's 2-3 graphics cards for a typical gamer.

yeah sure

oh and BZ has a X570 godlike vrm analysis up now

Because VRM on B360 or even Z370 still overheat say an 8700 or 9900k at stock. Remember how LTT's initial review on the 9900k showing it slower than the 9700k without CPU itself thermal throttling, causing quite some conflict when Linus stands to his team's result as other reviewers, say Gamers Nexus challenges him? That's with an Asus Maximus Hero (forgot it's 10 or 11) btw. Same happened to 8700 on heatsinkless boards.

I'm sure @LukeSavenije has added link to my component list in his mobo tier list. I've put it in my signature as well, check it out

@Jurrunio

Wow, actually this thread just got way more informative through the discussion, thanks guys!

With Intel I used to go for EVGA, but now I should reorient to Taiwan.

May I ask you which Boards you would ultimately recommend for X570?

Both Hardware and BIOS wise.

how did that pop out?

For the new 8 core? If you dont need TB3 or PCIe 4.0 you might as well go X470 instead, even B450 if you have even less expansion requirements.

Also not enough info for those to suggest anything that's not a crazy flagship for now. There could be quirks only recognized after the product reach some buyers and reviewers.
