Cpu temps on new PC

I just finished building my first PC and I am checking the idle temps in the BIOS and it says it is 40C. Should I be concerned?

The temperature itself is fine. Nothing to worry about!

But it would be good to know which CPU you're running, what you're cooling it with and your current room temperature.

I have the Ryzen 1600 and I’m cooling it with the cooler that came with it. (Idk what it’s called) thanks. The room temp is around 74-75 F

The cooler it came with is not exactly very good, but good enough and 40°C at idle at that room temp is just fine.

No need to be concerned! :)
