The Forest sensitivity to high

So i recently bought the forest to play with one of my mates. and i prefer a slow sensitvity. i run about 500 dpi. my mousepad area to turn is about 50cm long and going from one side to the other will make my cherecter turn 3/4ths of  a turn. but in the forest, my sensitivity is all the way down to 0% and i still do about 3 turns in that same space. ive gone through all of the config files and cant find a single mention of Dpi or muose sensitivity anywhere, does anyone know how to fix this?

the reason why i checked the config files is because i had the same issue with skyrim and i fixed it by changing the config file.
