Hi, I recently saw the post about a potential project involving a Mac Pro case. I happen to have one in much better condition that I’d like to donate. All internals have already been removed. Is there anyone who can help me get it to the right people? The only issue is probably shipping, even with no internal components, this beast is still very hefty. So I’m not sure how that would work.

Good thoughts... I have a Power Mac G5 (same case) collecting dust to maybe get rid of.

Local is really the only way to get or sell those. They are simply too impractical to ship and are easily damaged. Also they are Mac Pro towers. G5 towers are the most popular for modding.

What's the difference between the G5 and Mac Pro's?

Pretty much the entire layout. A G5 can easily fit an inverted mATX board just by taking out the main logic board. Mac Pro is a lot more work and modding.
