SSD and HDD

Maxb89

If I have a SSD and a HDD, which programs should go on which storage device?

Programs include games, operating system, recording sofware, antivirus and other common software.

Also the SSD will be 500gb (or maybe 240gb) and HDD 1tb.

depends on the size of your SSD and your games
but generally game files are on the HDD. If you got a large SSD capacity, then do it.

Anything file related that you don't care about performance -> HDD

Games -> Wherever they fit. SSD is the best

Anything OS and app related -> SSD. I hate having apps on multiple drives, makes things seem cluttery and annoying. Not needed unless you have a 32GB SSD...500GB is more than enough for an OS and any applications you wish to install.
