What is this Worth?

Go to solution Solved by TetraSky,

The GPU is worth more or less 80$. SSD is maybe 20$, depending on how much usage it has seen.

For the rest? I personally wouldn't pay more than 50$.

(I've checked the prices on ebay on a few parts... $10 for the CPU, $10 for the RAM... etc etc)

Overall, about up to $150. But realistically, without ripping off anyone, closer to $100~$120. There's isn't really a market for a system this old these days, other than extreme low budget builds.

Also, the laptop is obviously much better.

I have a pc i built in 2010. here are the specs..

-q6600 very stable at 3.5ghz

-gigabyte gtx 960 4gb g1gaming edition (good overclocker)

-250gb samsung 850 evo

- brand new toshiba 1tb hdd

- Coolermaster case from 2010(I dont rememberwhich one it is)

-Cooler master 550w 80+ psu

-one of those giant copper zalman heatsinks from 2010

-8gb 800mhz ddr2

-asus maximus formula atx 775 mobo

My friend has a laptop with an i5 6300hq and a 3gb 1060m. I told him I'd sell him this pc but i dont know how much to sell it for or if it would even be an upgrade from his laptop. I played games and streamed in 1080p on this pc forever and it has always run games great.(well over 60fps). Just wanted to hear peoples opinion.

Build:

2tb WD Black 7200rpm

Ek watercooling kit a240g with 360 expansion pack

His laptop will outperform your desktop, hands down. Off the top of my head, I'd maybe sell it for $300 (without checking prices), but if I were him I probably wouldn't buy it.
